a simple compact digital camera - no underwater scene mode - no manual controls - 3-clicks on the photo-editing software
it's not bad is it? OK for my photo folder
so, even the most basic camera, in an underwater housing, using point and shoot 'auto', can work reasonably well
for free diving photography
you can probably use the camera you already have - and a waterproof case
is this ideal? Possibly not, depends a bit on the camera, but it's a low cost way to see if you like free dive photography
But you can try this then progress to a camera that might be a bit more suitable if you want to - otherwise - just have fun and have underwater photos of
your hols, not just the land stuff
this site will try to help if you want to keep it simple and hopefully will help if you get hooked (as I have been)
Me - if a pensioner can take up free dive photography and do it - so can you
